Is there any drilling involved?
|
No, all hardware clamps
or bolts on in minutes.

What
tools are needed for installation?
|
A regular screw driver,
needle nose pliers, 9/16" socket wrench, 1/2" deep well socket and
ratchet, 1/2" open end wrench. More tools may be needed if your
truck has bed rail caps.

How
long does it take to install?
|
It typically can be done
in under 20 minutes by an experienced installer. It will likely take
around a half hour to install the first time, but it is so simple
you can install it yourself.

Is it water tight?
|
Your truck box is not
water tight, the stake pockets can leak allowing water into the box.
There is not a complete seal in the corners because it sits inside
of the box and no seal can stop 100% of the leakage.

What colors are available?
|
Basic Black (paint
ready), Custom Print (variety of print designs), or any picture you
want (the Deluxe Custom Digital). We use a revolutionary process to
inject a picture straight into the part. As long as the photo is not
licensed, we can put it on a tonneau cover for you.

How clear is the photo?
|
That depends, a digital
picture file of at least 500kb will look quite good, the larger the
picture size the better the quality. A 3 MB file (5 Mega pixel photo)
looks perfectly clear with no fuzziness.

Can the tonneau be locked?
|
Yes, all locking
hardware is mounted under the cover.
|
|
Will it work with bed liners?
|
Yes, even if you have a
sprayed in bed liner.

How much weight can you put on
the top?
|
It is not intended to be
stood on. Yet it can withstand over 300 lbs.

What type of care is recommended?
|
Treat this cover the
same as you do your vehicle, wash and polish with a high UV polish.

Can it withstand car washes?
|
Yes, it will withstand
car washes.

How should the tonneau be stored?
|
When not on your truck
box, it is recommended to be hung on the wall by the 2 hinge pins.

Will it scratch?
|
It is to be treated the
same as your truck exterior and yes, it can scratch. But because the
picture is embedded into the product, scratches can be normally
buffed out without ever damaging the photo within the part.

Can I drive with the cover open?
|
It is suggested by the
manufacturer not to drive with the cover open. The cover may be
taken off and stood on its side inside the box and strapped down.

How much does the tonneau weigh?
|
For a full size truck,
it weighs under 60 pounds, hardware and all.
|

What is the tonneau made from?
|
Fiberglass bridged by
foam. It is built in a vacuum environment which offers an unmatched
strength to weight ratio.

Does the tonneau lift up?
|
Yes, the props are
included, allowing for a hassle-free opening and closing motion.
